Cover materials for awnings include acrylic woven canvas (example: Sunbrella, Avenue, Calabana, Dickson) or vinyl laminates (Ferrari Precontraint, Ferrari Soltis, Weblon Coastline, Weblon Vanguard).

Where fire resistance is desired we use flame-retardant materials which will not drip or melt if exposed to flames and will self-extinguish as soon as heat is removed.

For shades an ultraviolet-stablized HPDE monofilament and tape knitted fabric Coolaroo is used and for retractable awnings Ferrari Soltis Air is excellent due to its inherent micro-aeration (absorbed heat is released and air is allowed to flow through and around the awning) and the fabric's natural citronella scent.

Most of these materials are available in a large selection of fade-resistant solid or striped colors.
